Registration for Gaelic Games Multi-Sport Summer Camp Now Open

Join us for the only Gaelic Games Multi-Sport Summer camp offered anywhere Canada. This exciting camp for kids ages 6-12 runs for 2 weeks in July and 2 weeks in August. Your kids will get to learn and play all five Gaelic Games that includes: Gaelic Football Handball Rounders Hurling/Camogie Athletics (Track & Field) Campers will learn the basics of Gaelic Games through our FUNdamental Skill Development Program with mini games and daily competitions. Kids will also enjoy other sports including Soccer, Basketball, Tag-Rugby and many more. Interactive instruction will be provided by experienced coaches from Ireland in a well supervised, high coach-to-player ratio environment. When not on the pitch, campers enjoy a daily swim at the local municipal pool and learning about Irish culture (Irish dance and language) through the coaches and guest instructors. Gaelic Season Begins With Fun-4-All Youth Program

The Ottawa Gaels are kicking off the 2018 Gaelic season with a weekly Fun-4-All youth program that will run through February and March. Join us on Monday evenings for a program featuring small sided games and multi-sports skills development. Sessions will be broken down into two age groups for children between the ages of 5 to 8 and another for kids aged 9 to 15. Coach Angela will be there along with two new coaches who have just arrived from Ireland. This program is offered at a cost of only $20 for five weeks or at a rate of $5 per drop in. The Ottawa Gaels Gaelic Football Co-ed Fall Superleague dates have been set. Join us for regular games, throughout October and November. Open to all for fun, fitness and friendship. All welcome – experienced, non experienced or just hoping to learn the game. Open to anyone 14 years or older. We invite all participants to register online (at the bottom of this page) so that we can plan accordingly. Full league information and registration is below. The Ottawa Gaels invite you to join us for the 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM), taking place on October 29th. This year’s AGM will be held at the Heart & Crown in the Byward Market, from 1-3pm. Our AGM gives our members and supporters an opportunity to hear from our board about the association’s performance and achievements over the past year. Join us as we review the year’s highlights and select our executive committee for the coming year.
