Senior Training Dates For Winter 2016

The Ottawa Gaels Senior training dates for the first months of 2016 are now scheduled. From January though April, we’ll get together for Co-Ed training sessions at indoor field locations throughout the Ottawa region. These training sessions will culminate in competition dates in April including: Superleague matches on April 9th and the 2016 Spring Thaw Co-ed Tournament on April 30th. Ottawa Gaels bringing Gaelic Football to Almonte Celtfest

The Ottawa Gaels will be participating in the Almonte Celtfest on July 5-6. On July 5, the Gaels will be hosting Gaelic Football youth games, a skills competition, and a football demo for parents. Be sure to stick around to watch the Ottawa Gaels women’s team play against Durham at 4:00, and then another match against St. Mikes on Sunday at 1:00. Celtfest is a fun weekend of Ottawa Valley and Celtic entertainment, performed in the natural amphitheater of Gemmill Park in the heart of Almonte. It is a time to share the historical Celtic traditions with today‚Äôs local performers. Celtfest also presents a select group of unique artisans and vendors of specialty goods with a Celtic flair.
