2021 Mike Robinson Memorial Tournament

2021 Mike Robinson Memorial Tournament

For the last decade, the Ottawa Gaels GAA has been delighted to host the annual Mike Robinson Charity Football tournament, in memory of our late friend, player, and Club member, Mike Robinson.

A full day of Gaelic Football with friends and teammates, both locals and visitors from other GAA clubs, has been a wonderful and meaningful way to commemorate our friend, and gather as a community.

This year marks our 10th annual Mike Robinson tournament, on Saturday, September 18th from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Players of all ages – (whether you’re 7 or 70!) are welcome to join us for Co-Ed Gaelic Football and Camogie matches.T

he schedule is the following:
9:30-11:30 – Senior Co-ed Camogie
9:30-11:30 – Youth Co-ed Gaelic Football
11:30-4pm – Senior Co-ed Gaelic Football

We are very pleased to host this event in Mike’s memory once again, especially since the 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID-19, following public health recommendations. Public Health protocols also prevented Philemon Wright High School from embarking on their Annual Mike Robinson Canoe trip in 2020 and 2021.
