The 2023 Jarlath Connaughton Memorial Golf Tournament
In 2021, our GAA community lost a beloved club member and dear friend, Jarlath Connaughton.
Jarlath will always remain in our hearts, minds, and in the memories we shared with him. To further commemorate the impact that Jarlath had on our community and in the development of our youth programs, the Ottawa Gaels are delighted to host the 2023 Jarlath Connaughton Memorial Golf Tournament Fundraiser.
We invite our GAA community to join us on Saturday June 17th, 2023 at Irish Hills Golf & Country Club, for a fun and meaningful day of golf, friends, fundraising, and to pay tribute to our dear friend Jarlath.
Date: Saturday, June 17th, 2023
10:30AM to 12PM – Registration & Lunch
12PM – Shotgun start.
6:30PM – Dinner
Location: Irish Hills Golf & Country Club, 3248 Carp Rd, Ottawa, ON
Guests have the option of participating in the full event, or simply attending the dinner.
Single Player Package – $140
Round of golf (18 holes) at Irish Hills Golf and Country Club.
Shared Power Cart
Lunch: Sandwich, Salad, beverage, dessert.
Sit Down Dinner: Main course, various sides, salads, rolls, dessert, coffee/tea.
Tournament Foursome: $560
Round of golf (18 holes) at Irish Hills Golf and Country Club (for 4).
Shared Power Carts (for 4).
Lunch: Sandwich, Salad, beverage, dessert (for 4).
Sit Down Dinner: Main course, various sides, salads, rolls, dessert, coffee/tea (for 4).
Dinner Only – $45
Sit Down Dinner: Main course, choice of various sides and salads, rolls, dessert, coffee/tea.
We also encourage professionals and businesses to consider sponsoring a hole in our tournament (information and pricing is located below). We’ll also be holding various contests throughout the course: Hole in One, Longest Drive, Closest to Pin, and of course our favourite: The Marshmallow Drive Contest!
Our annual Golf Tournament is an integral part of our annual fundraising efforts, and we are continually seeking sponsors and players to participate. In addition to joining us for a day of golf, we encourage you to consider a sponsorship relationship with us! We are appreciative of all sponsors and strive to reciprocate in the relationship by creating a high-visibility platform to market your business during the on and off-season. We will promote your business on our websites, social media platforms and at all events with signage and/or banners.
