2025 YOUTH PROGRAMS & REGISTRATION
The Ottawa Gaels will once again be running Gaelic Games youth programs in Almonte and Kanata for Spring/Summer 2025!
Gaelic Games are fast-paced, dynamic sports that combine skills from soccer, basketball, and volleyball. These programs present a great opportunity for your kids to develop their athletic skills and exercise in a fun and friendly environment, as well as discover an exciting new sport.
Our weekly Gaelic Games youth programs are offered in multiple locations in the Ottawa area, both indoors and outdoors. Registration information for the JustGo insurance fee and the Almonte and Kanata programs are below.
Part 1: Register the Youth Player in the CGAA JustGo system
All Club players must be registered and pay a small fee in the JustGo Registration System before they begin training or playing games with the Ottawa Gaels GAA. This is for insurance and liability purposes. This fee is paid directly to the Canadian Gaelic Athletic Association (CGAA), which is the national governing body of the Ottawa Gaels GAA.

As you’re registering online in JustGo, you’ll be required to provide payment (via credit card) for your appropriate Membership Type:

Part 2: Select a Youth Program and fill out the Club Registration Form:
ALMONTE AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS
The Almonte After-School program runs for 6 weeks in May and June. There are two weekly sessions: one for youth in Grades 2 & 3, and one for youth in Grades 4-6. Information for both of these programs is listed below.

The Kanata Gaelic 4 Girls (U12) Gaelic Games program runs for 9 weeks from May to July 2025, with participation in the TO Great Lakes Tournament on June 21st, and Celtfest on July 5th. Information about this weekly program is listed below.

KANATA MINOR BOYS PROGRAM
Our Kanata Minor program welcomes players of all experience levels. We offer a U-15 program for boys in grades 7-9 and a new U-18 program for boys in grades 10-12. Both programs include one indoor Try-It session and a nine-week outdoor recreational league. Additionally, we will participate in two one-day tournaments: Toronto Great Lakes on June 21st and the Almonte Celtfest Gaelic Games on July 5th, 2025.
