Almonte After-School Program

Thanks to our Ottawa Gaels in Almonte, we’re able to run a weekly after-school Gaelic sports program! This program presents a great opportunity for your kids develop their athletic skills in a fun and friendly environment. Our 2020 Almonte Program kicks off in May with 7 weeks of oudoor training sessions and games. Due to the outdoor nature of our program, we strongly recommend outdoor soccer cleats for our outdoor sessions. We’ll also be running a number of youth blitzes/tournaments (June, July, August, September), including our annual Almonte Celtfest Tournament! Registration details dependant on program selected below. Bring yourself, a water bottle, a smile, and a friend! 

Dates: May 9 – June 24 (7 weeks)
Tuesdays (Grades 2-3)
Thursdays (Grades 4-6)
Time: 4:00-5:00pm

**Grades 3-6 will have the opportunity to play Gaelic football in games on Wednesday evenings in the Ottawa Gaels’ first Youth league. Location will be in Kanata or Almonte, depending on schedule**

Beginner Primary Program:  $65.00

Grades 2-3  (U8) – After-School intro to Gaelic Sports program

Tuesdays 4:00-5:00: Hurling and Gaelic football practice: Ottawa Gaels dry-fit t-shirt included; highly recommend purchase of a First Touch Gaelic football for $20.00; local Celtfest blitz included on July 2nd at Gemmill Park

Full Primary or Junior Program: $65.00

Grades 3-6 After-School Hurling and Gaelic football  (U10 and U12)

Tuesday (Gr 3) or Thursday (Gr 4-6) 4:00-5:30: Hurling and Gaelic football practice, as well as Gaelic football games on Wednesday evenings in Kanata or Almonte (Schedule coming soon!) Ottawa Gaels dry-fit t-shirt included; highly recommend purchase of a Smart Touch or Quick Touch Gaelic football for $20.00; local Celtfest blitz included on July 4 at Gemmill Park

Please note that all  players are welcome to join this program, even if they are not attending CYC. However it is highly recommended that all CYC bound players do join this program, to best prepare for the tournament. Fundraising disbursement will account for the difference in cost, if the players are not registered for this program.

Minor Program: $99.00 

Grades 7 and up – Gaelic football training Sundays April 10, 24 // May 8, 15

Time: Girls 8:00-9:00am // Boys 9:00-10:00am
