Spring Thaw 2023: The GOATournament!

What’s more fun than playing against your competitors? Playing WITH your competitors!

The Ottawa Gaels invite you to join us for our annual Spring Thaw Co-Ed Tournament! The Spring Thaw is an individual sign-up tournament that builds camaraderie between Eastern North American teams.

The theme of this year’s Spring Thaw is: Greatest Of All Tournaments aka the GOATournament. With team names like: Cora Staunton, Serena Williams, Haley Wickenheiser, and Katie Taylor, the teams will surely live up to the hype!

Date: Saturday, April 29th, 2023
Time: 11.00am – 4.00pm

All participants are welcome and encouraged to join us in Ottawa for a post-event pint and meet-up at Brigid’s Well Pub: Brigid’s Well Pub – Google Maps

Registration: All players must register to play. Early bird registration is available at the reduced cost of $15 if the player is registered by Monday, April 24th, 2023. Any players registered after April 24th or on the day of the tournament are asked to pay the full cost of $20.

To transfer your player registration fee, please contact our Club Treasurer at treasurer.ottawagaels.ca@gaa.ie or send an interac e-transfer to the same address. Cash will be accepted on the day.

Anyone interested in refereeing or volunteering on the day are encouraged to reach out to us on social media or by emailing kerri.beeching@gmail.com. We look forward to kicking off the start of the Gaelic Games seasons in Canada with this fun and friendly Co-Ed tournament!
