PETES and Maison de l’Amitié Winter Carnival Day – January 31st
Join us for the Annual Winter Carnival at École Pierre Elliott Trudeau (PETES) on Saturday, January 31st. A full day of activities is planned for families, beginning at 10am. Free soup to warm you up will be available, hot chocolate and cotton candy will also be on sale.
There will also be an indoor Gaelic Football demonstration from 2-4pm at the gym. We’re looking for Ottawa Gaels youth and senior players to showcase the skills and thrills of Gaelic Football. We’ll also have Ottawa Gaels merchandise for sale throughout the day. Be sure to pick up your Gaels toque or warm hoodie! You can view the entire Gaels merchandise catalogue at our team store.
Below is a list of the day’s highlights:
- Pancake breakfast (10am-12pm – $2)
- Inflatable slides (10am-3pm)
- Face painting, craft table, snow art and painting (10am-noon)
- Boot hockey (10am-noon)
- Target games, slides and relay races (1pm-4pm)
- Horse and sleigh rides (11am-1:30pm)
- Gaelic Football demonstrations (2pm-4pm)
- Refreshments – hot chocolate, cotton candy, fruit kebobs
- 50/50 raffle to raise money
