GAA 4 Girls
Are you curious and want to try out a new sport?
Our GAA 4 Girls program welcomes players of all experience levels with a YOB of 2009-2014. It offers a fun and engaging introduction to Gaelic Football and Camogie in a safe and engaging environment.
Gaelic football is a fast-paced, dynamic field sport that combines the skills of soccer, basketball and volleyball. Camogie/Hurling is a fast-paced field sport that features skills similar to those of Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Ringette, Baseball, or even Softball.
Fridays, 6.00 – 7.30pm
Location: Naismith Memorial PS, 260 King Street, Almonte.
Players are welcome to attend both additional Almonte and Kanata Youth sessions. For ages 15+, please see our Senior Ladies training schedule.
Grab your bottle of water and get ready for sessions focusing on skill development, drills, small game scenarios and scrimmages, but most of all, FUN!
Soccer cleats are encouraged but not mandatory. Mouth guards are mandatory for Gaelic Football and to be kept in for the duration of training. Camogie/Hurling equipment is provided.
