Youth Gaelic Football Session In Riverside South
We are hosting a Gaelic Football introduction and training session in Riverside South. Bring out your kids – all ages welcome – to learn how to play this fast paced and exciting sport. The game draws on skills and aspects from many sports including soccer, basketball, volleyball and football. We are excited to be hosting Tom Murphy, a highly qualified coach from Ireland this summer to run our youth program. Ottawa Gaels Gaelic Football Summer Camp
The Ottawa Gaels have planned a summer camp for kids ages 5-12 in Kanata from July 14th to 18th. Campers who register will learn the basics of Gaelic Football through our FUNdamental Skill Development Program with mini games and daily competitions. Interactive instruction will be provided by coaches from Ireland including Tom Murphy, a certifiedand highly talented coach from County Carlow in a well supervised, high coach-to-player ratio environment. When not on the pitch, campers enjoy other activities including a daily swim at the local municipal pool and co-operative outdoor games, all while learning about Irish culture through the coaches and guest instructors.
