The summer tradition returns! We’re hosting our third annual pig roast extravaganza on Saturday, July 16th, at 4PM. Celebrate summer and spend time with your teammates, friends and their families. The Ottawa Gaels are returning to Almonte Celtfest on July 9th. We will be hosting Gaelic Football youth games, a skills competition, and a football demo for parents. Be sure to stick around to watch the Ottawa Gaels women’s and men’s teams compete in exhibition play. See below for a full schedule and more details about the festival. Celtfest is a fun weekend of Ottawa Valley and Celtic entertainment, performed in the natural amphitheater of Gemmill Park in the heart of Almonte. The Ottawa Gaels are excited to once again be taking part in the annual Irish Society of The National Capital Region Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. This year’s parade is set for Saturday, March 19th. The Parade will leave the intersection of Elgin St. and Laurier Avenue West at 11:00am, proceed westward along Laurier to Bank Street and then south on Bank Street to Lansdowne Park. At the conclusion of the parade, Lansdowne will be home to the inaugural Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party inside the Aberdeen Pavilion. The party which begins at noon and runs until 9pm will feature live entertainment, Delhi 2 Dublin, Celkilt, 12 Beau’s beers on tap, Irish-inspired cuisine by Beau’s Chef Bruce, traditional entertainment, activities and more!
