Dear Ottawa Gaels, We have now been living with the COVID-19 restrictions for over a month, and I hope that you are adjusting to our “new normal” as best you can.  I appreciate that it is a difficult adjustment to make for many not only due to the financial hardships you may be suffering but also learning to cope with the isolation of having to be away from family and friends.  It is a challenging time but remember we are all in this together and more than ever it is important to remain unified as a Club. Dear Ottawa Gaels, The GAA has announced the immediate suspension of all GAA, LGFA and Camogie Association activities at the club, inter-county and education levels to the end of March. It reads: “In light of this morning’s Government announcement, the GAA, An Cumann Camógaíochta and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association have decided to suspend all activity at club, county and educational levels until March 29 (inclusive) from midnight, This is to include all games, training and team gatherings at all ages and all grades. We will continue to liaise with Government officials and review the situation between now and the end of the month, assessing the impact of these measures on our competitions. In the meantime, the Association is encouraging all members to continue to follow the guidelines which have been provided by the Health Authorities”The CGAA has endorsed...

CALLING ALL LADIES! 2020 is our year to get active, get fit, and have fun! Whether you’re a seasoned Gaelic football player, or have never played before, all are welcome to participate in our 8 week Ladies Superleague!
