The Ottawa Gaels invite you to our year end banquet and buffet meal, happening on Saturday, November 9th at The Heart and Crown Byward Market. After another successful season we will be kicking off our cleats and handing out hardware for the Men’s and Women’s MVP, Most Improved, and Most Sporting players as well as awards for the club supporter of the year and club person of the year. We’ll also be enjoying a mouth watering buffet selection of food prepared by the Heart & Crown team. The Ottawa Gaels invite you to join us for the 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM), taking place on Sunday, October 27th. This year’s AGM will be held at the Heart & Crown in the Byward Market, from 1-3pm. Our AGM gives our members and supporters an opportunity to hear from our board about the association’s performance and achievements over the past year. Join us as we review the year’s highlights and select our executive committee for the coming year. As we approach our Annual General Meeting, we are also seeking volunteers to fill key positions. The 2019 Mike Robinson Memorial Gaelic Games Tournament will take place on Saturday, September 21st at Twin Elm Rugby Park. Registration for the tournament is now open. Our annual memorial tournament honours a wonderful friend of the Gaels and celebrates the excitement of our great sport in a fun, co-ed, family-friendly Gaelic Football tournament that is not too serious and spans the ages from 5 up to 70! As part of the days’ activities there is also a youth tournament for up and coming Gaelic footballers. The Youth portion of our tournament will run from 10am-12pm while Seniors games will play from 12:30-4:30pm. The Ottawa Gaels invite you to our annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser to benefit our Youth Development Program. This year’s Tournament will take place on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at the Irish Hills Golf & Country Club. A player package that includes 18 holes of golf, a power cart, BBQ lunch and a Roast beef dinner with all the trimmings is available for $125 per player. The Ottawa Gaels invite you to join us for our annual co-ed recreational indoor Gaelic Football Spring Thaw 7’s Tournament, taking place on Saturday, May 4th at the RA Centre Dome, 2451 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, from 12:30pm until 3:30pm.
