GAELS NEWS AND UPCOMING EVENTS – FEBRUARY 2020

Dear Ottawa Gaels,

Happy belated Family Day to our Ottawa Gaels Family! I hope everyone has been out enjoying the wonders of winter. The Ottawa Gaels Club has an abundance of activities to keep you busy over the next month whether you are a new member, alumni or just a friend of the Gaels. With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, we are gearing up for some good craic.

A special thank you to all the new recruits who have come out and given Gaelic a shot at La Fonderie the past few weeks. We have some amazing talent coming our way. We have had a fantastic organizing committee who put all the wheels in motion so thank you for all of your efforts!

I also want to thank all those who donated blood in January. Ottawa Blood Services is grateful for your donation. Our next charitable community event will be volunteering at the Ottawa Mission. Details to follow in our March Newsletter.

What Irish Rock is as light as a feather?

Why can’t you iron a four-leaf clover?

Lisa Langevin,

Ottawa Gaels Chairperson
